From Przemek Branas’ Colosus series, this collage work presents a fragmented portrait assembled through layers of translucent tape, cut forms, and exposed seams. Suspended between mask, caricature, and psychological study, the composition explores identity as something constructed, unstable, and performative.
Deliberately raw and unresolved, the work retains the visible traces of its making. Enlarged facial forms emerge through accumulation and repetition, oscillating between monumentality and vulnerability—reflecting Branas’ wider interest in the body as a site of projection, tension, and transformation.
