Shipping policies

1. Shipping & Fulfilment

All artworks purchased through Enth Projects are fulfilled and dispatched directly by Enth Projects, the respective artist, or a gallery partner. Dispatch will take place once payment has been received and verified.

Unless otherwise stated, artworks are typically dispatched within 5–10 business days from the date of order confirmation. Certain works may require additional preparation, packing, framing, crating, or production time, which will be indicated in the product description where applicable.

Tracking information will be provided once the artwork has been dispatched.

2. Shipping Options

Standard Courier Shipping

For many artworks, customers may select a standard courier shipping option during checkout.

Shipping rates are calculated in advance based on the artwork's dimensions, weight, destination, and expected carrier charges. Depending on the destination, shipments may be facilitated through carriers including DHL, FedEx, UPS, or equivalent providers.

All standard courier shipments are sent using tracked delivery services, and signature confirmation may be required upon delivery. Standard courier shipping does not include full-value transit insurance. For higher-value artworks, we recommend selecting the Personalised Shipping Quote (Insured) option.

Personalised Shipping

For customers seeking additional protection, specialised handling, or full transit insurance, Enth Projects offers a bespoke shipping service.

Under this option, our team will coordinate quotations from trusted logistics providers, fine art shippers, and professional art handlers. Customers will be presented with one or more shipping options for consideration before shipment is arranged. Applicable shipping and insurance charges must be approved and paid before shipment is arranged.

Certain artworks, due to their size, fragility, value, framing, glazing, material composition, or destination, may only be eligible for bespoke shipping. In such instances, the standard courier option will not be available at checkout.

3. Shipping Insurance & Liability

Standard Courier Shipments

Unless expressly stated otherwise, standard courier shipping options offered at checkout do not include full-value transit insurance for the artwork.

While shipping providers may offer limited compensation in the event of loss, theft, or damage, such compensation is governed solely by the carrier's terms and conditions and is typically significantly lower than the value of the artwork.

By selecting the standard courier shipping option at checkout, the purchaser expressly acknowledges and accepts the limitations of carrier liability and the absence of full-value transit insurance.

Customers selecting standard courier shipping acknowledge and accept that:

  • Enth Projects does not provide full transit insurance under this shipping option;
  • Once the artwork has been collected by or transferred into the possession of the shipping carrier, responsibility for the shipment passes to the carrier;
  • To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Enth Projects, its artists, gallery partners, and affiliates shall not be liable for loss, theft, delay, misdelivery, or damage occurring during transit;
  • Any claims relating to shipment loss or damage must be pursued directly with the relevant shipping provider.

For higher-value artworks, we strongly recommend selecting a bespoke shipping solution that includes appropriate transit insurance.

Personalised Shipping

Where insurance is arranged as part of a bespoke shipping quotation, coverage terms will be communicated separately and will be subject to the terms of the relevant insurer and shipping provider.

Enth Projects will assist purchasers in coordinating insured shipping arrangements where requested, however any insurance coverage remains subject to the applicable policy terms, exclusions, and claim procedures.

4. Packaging

Artists and partners are required to package artworks using industry-standard packing methods designed to protect works during transportation.

Certain artworks may require custom crating, specialist packaging, or additional protective measures. Where applicable, associated costs will be reflected within the artwork listing, checkout process, or bespoke shipping quotation.

While reasonable care is taken in preparing artworks for shipment, Enth Projects cannot guarantee against risks inherent to transportation.

5. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges displayed at checkout are calculated based on the information available at the time of purchase.

In rare cases, actual shipping costs may materially exceed the amount charged during checkout due to factors including, but not limited to:

  • incorrect or incomplete shipment information;
  • remote delivery locations;
  • dimensional weight adjustments;
  • carrier surcharges;
  • customs-related requirements;
  • specialised packing requirements identified after purchase.

Where such additional costs are significant, Enth Projects reserves the right to contact the purchaser and request payment of the difference prior to dispatch. If the purchaser declines to proceed, Enth Projects reserves the right to cancel the order and issue a refund.

6. Delivery Times

Delivery estimates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed.

Transit times may vary due to customs inspections, carrier delays, weather conditions, local regulations, geopolitical events, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Enth Projects shall not be liable for delays occurring after an artwork has been dispatched.

7. Tracking

Once an artwork has been dispatched, the purchaser will receive shipping confirmation and tracking information where available.

It is the purchaser's responsibility to monitor tracking updates and ensure that delivery arrangements can be completed successfully.

8. Taxes, Duties & Customs

International orders are generally shipped on a Delivered Duties Unpaid (DDU) basis unless otherwise specified.

Certain artworks may include applicable local taxes, including VAT, within the listed purchase price, where indicated on the artwork page. Unless otherwise stated, import duties, customs charges, VAT, GST, sales taxes, brokerage fees and any other charges imposed by local authorities remain the responsibility of the purchaser and are not included in the purchase price or shipping charges.

Enth Projects is not responsible for customs delays or additional charges imposed by customs authorities or shipping providers.

Any duties, taxes, or customs fees paid are non-refundable.

9. Returns & Refunds

Due to the unique and often one-of-a-kind nature of the artworks offered through Enth Projects, all sales are considered final.

Purchasers are responsible for carefully reviewing artwork descriptions, dimensions, materials, framing details, and condition information prior to completing a purchase.

Damaged Shipments

If an artwork arrives damaged, the purchaser must notify Enth Projects within 24 hours of delivery by contacting returns@enth-projects.com and providing photographs of:

  • the artwork;
  • all packaging materials;
  • the exterior shipping box or crate; and
  • any visible damage.

Orders Shipped via Personalised Insured Shipping

Where transit insurance has been arranged through Enth Projects as part of a bespoke shipping service, we will work with the purchaser, shipping provider, and insurer to review the claim and determine the appropriate resolution in accordance with the applicable insurance policy and shipping terms.

Any compensation, repair, replacement, return, or refund remains subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant insurer and shipping provider.

Orders Shipped via Standard Courier Shipping

For artworks shipped using the standard courier option selected at checkout, no full-value transit insurance is provided by Enth Projects.

Once the artwork has been transferred to the shipping carrier, Enth Projects, its artists, gallery partners, and affiliates accept no liability for loss, theft, delay, or damage occurring during transit.

Customers selecting the standard courier option acknowledge that any claim relating to loss or damage must be pursued directly with the shipping carrier and in accordance with that carrier's policies and limitations of liability.

Enth Projects is unable to accept returns, provide refunds, or offer compensation for transit-related damage, loss, or theft where the standard courier shipping option was selected.

10. Authorised Returns

In exceptional circumstances where Enth Projects agrees in writing to accept a return for reasons unrelated to transit damage, the following conditions apply:

  • Return authorisation must be obtained in advance from Enth Projects;
  • Return shipping must be arranged by Enth Projects or through a shipping provider approved by Enth Projects;
  • The purchaser is responsible for all return shipping costs unless otherwise agreed in writing;
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable; and
  • The artwork must be returned in the same condition in which it was received.

Refunds, where approved, will only be processed after the artwork has been received and inspected by Enth Projects or the relevant consignor.

For international orders, duties, customs charges, VAT, sales taxes, and other import fees are non-refundable.

11. Inspection Upon Delivery

Purchasers are responsible for inspecting all artworks immediately upon delivery.

Any visible damage to packaging or artwork should be documented and reported promptly to both the shipping provider and Enth Projects.

Failure to notify Enth Projects of damage or discrepancies within a reasonable period may affect the purchaser's ability to pursue a shipping or insurance claim.
